Unsaid but obvious rule number one of web design is building a site which is clearly understandable, and which is able to explain at first glance what it does. Imrmls.com has managed to break that and many other common sense rules, though it is clear that Real Estate specialists may have an advantage in figuring it out over the rest of us mere mortals who only expect a site to be clear. In any case, and after much browsing, I have been able to deduct that Imrmls.com is a listing service for real estate where professionals from around the country present their business opportunities with pictures and other (scanty) relevant property information, and which site visitors can browse at leisure, see pictures and read only very brief descriptions of, with only the name of the realtor in charge of it (with no links or information contact). Since these people don’t seem to have heard about that very useful section of sites called ‘About Us’, it’s hard to say whether it is intended for individuals or professionals to search/publish properties, though you can find webinars, videos, and information on upcoming events and training sessions which will probably be enlightening. In any case, it seems quite clear that the people at Imrmls.com will have to do some rethinking of their site if they have any pretention of catching up with the huge amount of competing listing services which are so much clearer and easy to use.
