Remember that SIMS game everybody was crazy about a couple of years ago? Well, Howrse is very much the same thing only starring horses: players have to sign up to the community of players (playing howrse is free). You have to create your own horse or pony, train it so it wins competitions and gets better chances to become a highly-requested breeder (and you a richer equestrian manager); a part of the game is to manage equestrian centers, so players’ responsibilities are increasingly sophisticated, as they have not only to build the boxes and race tracks, hire the staff to take care of the horses but also organize horse races and grow crops to feed the animals. Players deal with other players in order to get breeding contracts, race schedules, to try and become the best among other equestrian centers. There is no age restriction to play howrse, however the target for this game’s players is not children but maybe young teenagers or young adults.
