Got Milk? is an advertising campaign which was started in America in the 1990`s to encourage cow`s milk drinking. Still going, and spreading, the concept is still as healthy as your average milk-drinker. The fun, graphic site offers everything for the aspiring milk-champion, from mugs and T-shirts with the “Got milk?” logo, to posters of the Cookie Monster, surrounded by delicious chocolate-chip cookies. They have a Fun section featuring lots of very entertaining contests. Their Health section has information about lactose intolerance, drinking milk to stop PMS and get healthier teeth, as well as sports-related facts on chocolate and a special focus on Health and the Latino community. Since 2006, the campaign has started to target Latinos more specifically; this is why the website calls milkshakes “licuados”, and uses Spanish words here and there. This is one site which would make cows smile if only they could read, or surf the web, for that matter. It is also guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
