If you are up to some social network profile revamping and care to get some nice effects in your images, Fotline.com can be of very limited help. Though you will be able to see a huge offer or glitter and shiny lettering, cursors, layouts and whatnot, most of these seemingly categories will actually take you to some third party site. The only remaining category is the ‘Effects’ to your far left, which in turn hosts four or five image effects, including water effect, sliding images, exploding pics and a sketch animation. Unlike most of the more reasonable generators around, Fotline.com will only generate graphics from files in your computer –not by pasting URLS directly, say—; once your gif image is ready to go and you’re ready to copy the code, you’ll note that it’s non selectable, and that you must sign up to the site (not this one, but PerfSpot, aka the most annoying social network in the world) to enable selection. The site is obnoxiously plagued with flashy graphics advertising webfetti sites, and its sole point is to subtly cheat people into signing up to PerfSpot, something which is probably not going to happen as a result of these horridly aggressive marketing tactics.
