    FiddlersGreen.net - Paper Models

    FiddlersGreen

If you were expecting something with violins and a golf course, FiddlersGreen.net is definitely not the way to go, as this site is a retailer of paper models for animals, planes, castles and other fun projects involving glue, scissors and craftiness. The site provides models mainly for adults or older kids, as they seem to be quite complex. If you are new to paper modeling, probably the best way to kick start your hobby is to attentively read the FAQs section to learn about basic abilities and tips you’ll need for modeling, then go on to download some of the free trials on offer, and once you’ve mastered the basics, you can go on to purchase individual models from the site, or some of the CD compilations which not only include several thematic projects, but will also earn you three months of ‘magic keys’, that is: free updates and models delivered directly to your inbox. If you fancy a more advanced approach, you can follow the links provided by the site for recommended printers of the models, which although will charge you a bit more, will also get better colors and paper quality. One of the things I most enjoyed about visiting this site is the fact that the people keeping it obviously enjoy a lot what they do, so that their site is written in a funny and laidback tone. Hopefully all hobbies and hobbies sites would be as relaxed as this one is!
