Aldi is a US-based discount grocery store that’s been operating in the US since the mid seventies, selling generic brands as opposed to renowned ones, and providing greater savings to their shoppers. Aldi.us is the user and corporate homepage for the company, and on it you will be able to find all the regular stuff you can find on a site for a supermarket: mission and vision, store locator, career opportunities, company philosophy, etc. In addition to this, there are a couple of exciting tools available on the site, which are probably very useful to the stores’ customers, including meal planners that allow to create a virtual cookbook. Once you’ve decided what your meal plan is, the site automatically makes the shopping list. In order to do any of this you need to be a registered user, if you hadn’t registered before deciding what you were going to get there’s no need to worry, the system saves all your selections and meals for later so you don’t have to write your grocery list again.
