If your life is affected by someone’s drinking such as your child, parent, friend, or loved one, at this site you will find the help you need. Al-Anon has been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics. Why? Because is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, weather they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship. How can they help? They do it by practicing the twelve steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic one. At the left hand side of the homepage you will find some categories that provide information about if this program can be suitable for your needs. Their 20-question self-quizzes can help you decide if Al-Anon may be of help. All you have to do is select a quiz and ask yourself the questions. If you identify with some of the sentiments, they encourage you to give Al-Anon or Alateen a try.
