Ucgstp.org is an austere site: its design is unsavory, and its features are basic, but I reckon this is a very illustrative example about how simple sites can be very useful as long as they tend and cater for the needs of its target audience, which in this case is that of believers and community members; at least that is the people it was created for, which certainly does not leave out other persons of faith and students who might use the many available video and audio materials for personal or research use. But let’s go back a bit: this site is home for United Church of God-St. Paul, a Christian community based in Woodbury, Minnesota, and by taking a look around, users will be able to discover a very comprehensive library of archived videos and audios of past sermons, prayers, choir presentations and even Bible study sessions which can be downloaded or viewed online. Other than a calendar of events, a limited phone directory and some driving directions, you won’t be able to find anything else on the site, but that’s okay: its target audience probably doesn’t need any extras.
