Cemeteries-of-tx.com is a free website dedicated to obtaining, creating, and presenting Texas cemeteries as they are today. This project began as “West Texas Cemeteries” that was a small site of just nine counties. Today the website covers the 254 counties of Texas, and even some of the surrounding states of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The main objective is to obtain cemetery histories, inscription records, directions and photographs of each cemetery or burial ground. The website is updated every day. You can have access to some hints to submit or record a cemetery, Texas laws about funerals, memorial markers, how to link photos in a document, Texas laws on visiting cemeteries, and much more.
