YouStyleMe.com wants to help you find your best style. The site allows you to create a profile, upload your closet through photos, ask fashion advice, and create outfits using any retail store online. This means you can mix and matching items from various places including your closet to create that perfect outfit. That's pretty fun and pretty cool - even if, like me, your not that into fashion. I like how the site has a box soliciting style questions, then posts them and posts the answers. The site also features a social networking tool, which allows certain users to create reputations as great stylists (which they can use for their own career purposes, if they wish). The site is fun and hip, and should be popular with all those fashionistas out there.

Members create a fashion profile, upload their closet, ask questions about specific items and give advice by creating outfits for friends or other members. To create a closet, users upload items directly to the site, bookmark items from any online retailer, or add items from the community's closet. Similarly, when creating an outfit, users have access to a variety of sources - online retailers, image uploading, and closets from the community.

While I may not be a fashionista, I could benefit from the advice of friends and others online about what kinds of outfits I should wear. I like how this site tailors to the individuals and really allows anyone to get a free personal shopper/stylist. It also fosters creativity and allows artists to showcase their skills and talent.

Does this site allow users to purchase recommended items from the site? I didn't see that feature, but could have missed it. Have they considered linking with the fashion industry to sponsor a fashion/style contest (maybe they could choose a typical woman and then challenge the stylists to come up with her perfect wardrobe)? They could also link with fashion schools to have them showcase their fashions online. There are seemingly lots of unexplored opportunities and partnerships. How are they making a profit?
