YachtWorld.com - Boats & Yachts for Sale

Passionate about boats? Planning to buy a sailboat? Then this is the right place for you.

YachtWorld contains a large photo database of new and used power and sailboats for sale and charter. Boat listings are provided by subscribing member yacht brokers and dealers, not individuals. The site lists more than 100,000 boats for sale in 115 countries by some 2,300 brokers. You can search boats combining different search criteria like type of boat, manufacturer or model, length, year, currency, price; or browse boats for sale by boat type, country, state, city, or by boat builder. Once you've found the right boat, YachtWorld can connect you with marine financing to help you find the best boat loan rates around. YachtWorld Loans specializes in financing for new and used boats, loans for yachts of all sizes, and refinancing of boats or yachts. It provides a nationwide boat loans service directing you to multiple boat loan lenders. When you apply for your boat loan, multiple lenders will compete for your business, so you can be sure you will get the right loan for your situation and budget. Next, you'll need to insure your boat. YachtWorld offers you access to a selection of the leading boat insurance providers to meet your insurance needs. To request your boat insurance quote, or for further information, just select one of their boat insurance providers. If you found your boat but it isn't located nearby, one of their shipping partners can transport the boat to you. Additional resources include boating yellow pages containing over 20,000 listings of companies selling marine-related products and services sorted by category; a charter section for those interested in learning more about local, national and international yacht charters and services; a library that contains boating content about power boating, sailing and fishing from many well-respected print publications and features and sea stories submitted by site visitors and members; discussion forums that give boaters access to information and relevant topics pertaining to boat ownership, maintenance and technical questions, cruising, safety, marine antidotes, product evaluations and more.

Why it might be a killer

YachtWorld is a great online resource for the international yacht broker community, but it’s also a destination site for locating yachts for sale, charters, and finding marine-related information. It provides a huge searchable photo database of boats for sale. It also opens possibilities for advertisers willing to reach a highly qualified audience.

  Some questions

Why do people need a broker to buy a boat or yacht? Why the site does not include private or owner listings? Will YachtWorld emerge as real authority in boat listings? Will they be able to maintain its position as new marine websites appear on the net?
