WetMount is a visual search and sort for the web. It uses the concept of a number line to visualize and order information. Concepts are arranged alphabetically fro A to Z or numerically from 1 on; URLs are matched according to the valued order. The goal of the site is to minimize the actual physical screen real estate needed to navigate around search results, thus allowing users to understand the entire data set visually, without the need to scroll down and freeing the data reduction pathways. Currently, WetMount is merely a beta demo; it does support various media files such as audio and images. It pulls out metadata. No peer sharing is allowed, however sign up is absolutely free.
