Wegoround is a vacation property search engine. If you're looking for a rental or want to list your property, you can use Wegoround's specialized features to find that perfect place to stay, or identify the best party to whom you can rent your pad. Wegoround has a relatively large database and at the time of this review was host to nearly 300,000 properties. The site is fully international and features properities in all the major regions of the world; you can browse by state (as applicable), country, or keyword. You can also sign up for an account to access features like "My saved rentals".

"The hope is to offer a specialized search engine that is free to owners, managers, renters, and anyone using the site to aid in finding the right vacation rental. With this goal in mind all results are weighted the same and no payments are accepted for higher placement in our results. We do however offer advertising on the site but these will be separated from search results".

Unlike a lot of other vacation rental sites, Wegoround's advertising does not interfere with the order of search results. The site maintains a completely unbiased stance and does not give preference to any specific property, regardless of affiliation. It also digs pretty deep – there was even a property available in French Guyana at the time of this review.

The interface and style of the site isn't as sleek or as pleasing to the eye as some of its better-known competitors. It would also be nice if the site had more of a community feel to it, an ambience that Wegoround could achieve by adding some more web 2.0 features, including on-site messaging.
