VoyageTrek is a search engine for the extreme vacationer. If you're looking to get off the beaten path and do some crazy activities that will make your heart rate rise, check out what this site has to offer. You can search for extreme sports either at home or abroad, and don't think that site is limited to the basics like sea kayaking and hangliding; you can find activities as obscure as "Storm chasing" and "Dog sledding" on VoyageTrek. To run a search, choose a category and a sub-category (for example, "Snow sports" followed by "Heli-skiing"). Then you can specify your travel destination. The site lets you know how many results your search will produce as you go, so you can go back and make changes accordingly to increase or decrease your list or results. Alternately, you can simply browse the site's list of activities. For the faint of heart, the site also provides information about activities that are a little less life-threatening; set your grandmother up with a Chilean vineyard tour while you go whitewater rafting.
