Going to China, Paris, or Turkey anytime soon? Need a place to stay? Vivirama is a website devoted to showcasing apartments for rent or sale. A world map is displayed at the bottom of the page with colored dots marking the countries and cities where Vivirama has apartments available. Users can also search by city, region, or country at the top of the home page. Users can further zoom in on a map to select apartments visually in a certain area of a city, or they can click links on a list at the left of the page. Most apartment listings have photos, links to more information, and informative descriptions.

The ability to search for apartments based on the map is definitely a plus. This means that seemingly arbitrary and often unclear definitions of location (such as the “zone” of a city) are eliminated in favor of showing the exact place an apartment is in relation to known landmarks. Plus, all listings are free of charge.
