I cannot imagine the number of weeks and months I spent on cnet.com, circuitcity.com, bestbuy.com, amazon.com, trying to find the perfect HDTV for the lowest price. Do I buy a Plasma or LCD? Do I buy a Pioneer or a Vizio? Do I buy it online or B&M? There are lot of sites where you would find good comparisons for these issues. CNET reviews are great but if I could in addition find out from my friends what they think thats even better. If I knew my friend bought it from an online store with no issues, it would give me lot more confidence to buy a pricy item like this online."

| Why it might be a killer | |||

Viddu is the only place that uniquely provides users a way to get reviews and deals from friends and see related content from elsewhere on the web. Using Firefox and Cooliris plugin, you can research a product for reviews and deals within minutes. There is no other place on web to do that. There is Yahoo! Answers, Amazon Askville for asking question but those are too generic and not specific for products. There is Crowdstorm but extremely hard to understand what they are trying to do.
