Tripkick is a new hotel information database. It goes far beyond the typical TripAdvisor kind of listings and analyzes hotels by each individual room. You can find out which room numbers have the best bathrooms, the best views, are on the corner, will have the least amount of noise, have been recently renovated, and more. It also lists which rooms to avoid based on problems like elevator noise. Each hotel’s amenities are also listed, such as if they have WiFi or if they’re pet friendly. You can search hotels based on their personality, such as modern/stylish, hip and trendy, or clean and simple, and if you’ve happened to stay in one of the ones listed, you can provide your own review and post pictures of your room. Transportation basics are also listed so that you don’t have to worry about how you’ll be getting to and from your destination. Most of the 250+ hotels listed and reviewed are of a pretty high quality, so if you can afford to stay in a nicer place while traveling to one of the ten cities in the U.S. that they’ve researched so far, this is a great tool for you.

It’s easy to browse through and the amount of information provided makes it impossible for you to not know what to expect before you get to your hotel room if you’re using this site. Generally it’s a pain to try and find out the little details of what a hotel has to offer or how you could maybe finagle a deal to get a cheaper rate, but this site takes out all of that pain and effort and gives it to you straight forward.
