What do you think would happen if Google put a video player and chat box on its main page? The answer can be found or at least imagined more vividly by setting your browser to the Daily Search website. It provides exactly such a platform: a search engine coupled with chat in real-time.

The reasoning behind such a service is one I think we would all agree with: given all the traffic and visits that Google has on average in a single minute, letting people who are searching see each other and engage in conversation could but lead to an interactive experience of its own.
