TagSlides.com - Search The Net Visually

Tagslides offers a visual way for you to browse the net. Using tags, Tagslides creates a slideshow of corresponding websites, each of whose start page you get to view for 15 seconds.

If you decide you want to go to the site, you can pause the show and check it out. To create a show, add tags from Tagslide's suggested bank of words, or create your own. by adding them to the "Active tags" box. When you're done, click on "My Slideshow", and Tagslides will generate it for you. You can also browse the 500+ existing shows, and if you see a slide you like, you can add it to your show as well with a click of the mouse.

Tagslide is an interesting, visual way to get to know the internet a little better. It could be more helpful than a traditional search, in that a slideshow that offers snapshots of all potentially relevant sites is literally delivered to your doorstop; it eliminates the need for clicking on links to view sites that may or may not be what you're looking for.

The site itself seems to be plagued by a few bugs; several times the slides got stuck, and another time the application confused my slideshow with another one by another user which I had recently viewed.

"It's organized by tags and sorted alphabetically. To get started, select some tags using the menu on the left by clicking the suggested tags under ADD A TAG or by typing tags directly into the box underneath".
