SurfDirections.com is, simply put, a list of websites divided into several general interest categories.

The cool thing about this list is that it is based on the votes of the visitors, so a web site will only get to the top of its' category if it has a positive feed back from the visitors. You can browse, vote and discuss on websites in 60 general interest categories, ranging from news to pets and cars. All the web sites are voted by visitors, based on their experience, and are then sorted by their scores. New web sites can be introduced by either the editors or by the visitors, using the web site submission form. Then, all the web sites are added in a temporary database, from where editors select the qualified ones that would fit in the context of this directory. The accepted web sites then appear in their lists. After this stage, all visitors can vote for any of the web sites listed (only once every 24 hours for each web site), giving scores in three different areas: design, content and quality. The web sites are then sorted according to the votes (you can select several sorting options on the website).
