Specra.com - Search Multiple Engines At Once

    specra

Specra is a new search portal that lets you crawl the three major search engines on the WWW today at the very same time. That is nothing new. The good bit is that you can manually set down the degree of relevance that the results produced by each one of these engines will have. This is accomplished by moving a slider into position. Easy.

By default, Google is given the maximum weight (1000) and then Yahoo and MSN are given equal relevance (800 each). You can tweak these values at will as it was just explained, and if you want to go back to what things were before you can always click on “Default” and start again from scratch.

Summing up, if you are looking into ways of conducting searches in an unobtrusive (and customizable) way simply pay Specra a visit at the provided address, supply a query of your own or pick one of the provided samples and put it to the test in person.

    In their own words

“Search many engines at a time.”

Why it might be a killer

The fact that it is so fast and direct gives it a (sort of) edge.

    Some questions

Are there sites that play out a similar role when it comes to other search engines, or that provide a similar service to this one but with some differences?
