As its name implies, SearchPDFFiles.com is nothing but a search engine for PDFs. And if you are thinking what is the point in releasing such a thing at this time, then you are not the only one. I am thinking exactly like you, specially after having tried the site only to find that it has no remarkable features of any kind whatsoever. No easy way to filter what you are looking for, no thumbnail views, no detailed descriptions that could keep you from actually downloading something that could hardly be any further removed from what you were looking for to begin with. All you get on the site is a box for inputting your query. You type what you want, and the results will cascade down for you to further explore them.
In its defence, it must be said that SearchPDFFiles.com is fast. Very fast. But (as nefarious as that might sound) that is the only positive thing I have to say about this new website. There is nothing else to praise or commend about it.
