In their own words
“Pycasa is a vertical search engine for for-sale-by-owner (FSBO) properties. Pycasa tries to solve two problems in the online FSBO market. First, Pycasa provides search results for the many FSBO sites already listing properties. We are in early beta and we are actively expanding our result set to incorporate these many different FSBO sites. Second, Pycasa displays all the relevant property information on the search results page so you don't have to traverse back and forth between the results page and the property pages to find what you're looking for.”
Why it might be a killer
Pycasa has good intentions. The more free resources home buyers have, the better. However, the amount of properties available on the site is scarce. The search capabilities that users may use are also limited. The site needs more property listings, as well as further development.
Some questions
How could a list of available cities with properties enhance the site? What benefit could international listings bring? How could posting rentals broaden the scope of the site?
