    ProgrammerMeetDesigner.com - Site Development Jobs

    ProgrammerMeetDesigner

Browsing around the web it is very frequent to find sites that work like a wonder but incur in severe design crimes, or preciously designed sites which can’t even get their spelling right, and although we know that multitasking is good, we also know that it might be too much, and produce scenarios like these. So, here comes ProgrammerMeetDesigner.com, which was thought up with the mission to eradicate these situations from our web experience, for good, as what it does is to unite programmers and designers for web projects, or help entrepreneurs and writers find people to work with. In any case, it’s a free job opportunity messageboard closed for the site developing industry. In order to use this free service, you just need to become a member and create a profile, into which you can build a portfolio or showcase of previous works.

    In their own words

“This site was created to unite programmers and designers because rarely is a person good at both programming and designing. PMD helps programmers and designers partner up to make websites and web applications that look and work great.”

Why it might be a killer

This site might become a killer startup any of these days because it tackles a clearly recognizable problem that the people who are related to site developing frequently experience; a good plus about ProgrammerMeetDesigner.com is that when you are looking for a job you’ll get the kind of information you are actually interested in, as the spectrum of jobs offered is small enough to keep the results pertinent. Also, the site has a policy of reporting partners that have failed to pay; those people’s accounts get revoked, but happily there have been no reports on scam cases for the time being.

    Some questions

I found the search parameters quite rigid. For one thing, the searchbox is not directly presented, but you actually have to get to it through a small tag that indicates the search area, into which you have to tick what you do, what you are looking for, in what area and a long etc. We already know that excessively detailed searches hardly come up with stuff, and it seems the people at ProgrammerMeetDesigner.com should know it as well. Will we be seeing any blank search boxes in their site?
