We reviewed sBrows.com a few months ago right after they launched their basic search engine that allows you to view search results in thumbnail format before deciding if you’d like to surf to the page or not. Using the same thumbnail-result interface, Sbrows On You applies this “peak before you enter” functionality to YouTube video search. Simply enter your keywords into the search bar and then instantly view multiple thumbnails of the different hits you’ve received before clicking on the one you’d like to watch which will be played in an embedded media player directly on the page. They have also incorporated the “I feel lucky” feature of Google by automatically pre-loading a video as soon as you start searching.

Like the sBrows original search engine, this latest effort is very clean and friendly on the eyes. People will enjoy the interface and being able to watch videos without having to link to a third-party site.

Will they be adding other video sites to their search or just focusing on YouTube. While the thumbnail approach works great for regular searches, is it going to be appreciated enough by video-searchers who are already accustomed to viewing thumbnails before choosing to watch any given video or not?
