Searching for a new place to live? Craigslist not cutting it? If so you might want to check out MyNewPlace. MyNewPlace is an online rental search tool covering the US. The searches are mapped based, meaning all results are pinpointed on a map; you can zoom in and out to find more properties. Each listing comes with photos and details; the initial view shows you price range and number of rooms and bathrooms. Additional search filters include rental price, pets, amenities, and property type among other things. You can store results in your favorites to consult later. Managers can participate in two different listing options: one, they may choose to pay only for qualified leads, and two, they can pay a low monthly rate (fixed). Users are offered a $100 incentive for using the site to find their new rentals.

In their own words
“Are you looking to find an apartment for rent in the Big City? CNN Money rated New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston & Phoenix amongst the five best cities for apartment rentals in the US. Big city living does not always mean affordable apartments for rent. MyNewPlace.com knows that having a comprehensive apartment guide is the key to finding the best new apartment listings, whether you are looking for a 1 bedroom or studio apartment, or would just like to explore new options using an apartment finder. If you're trying to find an apartment in Philadelphia, a rental in San Diego or loft in San Antonio, you must know which apartment rentals are new and contact these apartments for rent quickly. That's why when you search apartments in Dallas, Detroit, San Jose, Jacksonville or Indianapolis MyNewPlace.com has the best apartment guide because it gives you the most information on our unique map-based apartment search.”
Why it might be a killer
This is an easy site to use. It’s very user friendly, with clear search results mapped out for you in a detailed yet concise manner. Apartment hunters will also like the cash incentive.
Some questions
Will we see more functionality added to this? Perhaps descriptions of neighborhoods (or even search by neighborhood), more sharing capabilities, etc?
