There is no self-proclaimed expert, for the viewers post the upcoming events and can vote on each one. However, there isn´t much else to distinguish it from other local events sites. Although Localist describes musical acts to come and their venues, it would reach more people if it included more cultural events within DC, such as art, theatre and dance.
