What´s more is there´s a weekly calendar to keep track of your schedule, which is specific to each neighborhood when you follow the neighborhood links. Within each of these pages, tourists and locals alike can discover new information about all of the most popular places and the acts performing in each one.

There is no self-proclaimed expert, for the viewers post the upcoming events and can vote on each one. However, there isn´t much else to distinguish it from other local events sites. Although Localist describes musical acts to come and their venues, it would reach more people if it included more cultural events within DC, such as art, theatre and dance.

How can Localist incorporate an introduction page to their website to clearly explain what it’s offering? Is it possible to create a section devoted to ongoing musical events within the specific venues or to create a section devoted to clubs with djs?
