Listasaurus.com is the first online classifieds site to pay users simply for listing their classifieds ads. They have recently introduced video classifieds, but unlike other video classifieds sites they don't require it. It's just a nice feature for their users. They offer standard classified ad categories, but they also have a local Business Directory that's set up more like the Yellow Pages so folks don't have to keep posting and reposting their business ads. “The idea for Listasaurus.com was inspired by our frustration with the unbelievable cost of newspaper advertising (ouch!) as well as the hope of bringing a community feeling to the online classified world. In our own journeys amid online classified websites, we observed that many online advertising sites (especially the "free" ones) are confusing and difficult to use, not to mention overwhelmed by spam ads that make it difficult to find the "real" ads in there somewhere...”

No one else out there offers a pay per listing program, and people are tired of getting nickel and dimmed from the likes of eBay. They are also more feature-rich than craigslist and other classified sites out there. They are looking to add auctions to the site sometime in 2008, which will make them the first online auction site to pay users to list.
