    Jobrific.com - A Reverse Job Board

Jobrific touts itself as “the first and only reverse job board”. The site comprises a board where anyone can post what they are looking for and get leads from other people.

It seems to try and preempt the awkward situation when one talks to friends and lets them know about what he was looking for, only to have a friend remark “Hey, but I knew one such opening”.

Generally speaking, on the site you do not have to offer money for a lead, but it helps if you do because it gets you good leads and responses rather than none at all. Money makes the world go round, as always. And if you’re a job expert or know how to help others find jobs and job leads, then you can make money doing it by answering the ads that are featured online.

The programmer makes a valid observation: it is a bit like Yahoo! Answers, but solely devoted to job seekers. Of course, in times of financial uncertainty a resource like this one can turn out to be (if not the next sensation) something to cause some waves. Check it out and see if it clicks with you.

    Jobrific.com In their own words

“Welcome to Jobrific.com, the reverse job board! This site was created out of frustration of not finding the right job postings online but hearing about the great job I missed out on, had I been friends with someone who knew of a hiring within their company. So, I created Jobrific.com, the reverse job board, where anyone can post what they are looking for and get leads from other people. Generally, you do not have to offer any money for a lead, but it helps if you do because it gets you good leads and responses rather than none at all. So, when filling out your post, in the $ section - if you’re willing to (and promise to) pay for a job lead, put the dollar amount (U.S. Dollars). Otherwise, if you just want to see if someone will give you a lead/tip for free, enter 0. Give it a try if you’d like, it’s free.”

Why Jobrific.com might be a killer

It is a refreshing approach that works vey well in practice, and which makes looking for a job (something tried and tested) a less burdensome task.
