It seems to try and preempt the awkward situation when one talks to friends and lets them know about what he was looking for, only to have a friend remark “Hey, but I knew one such opening”.



Generally speaking, on the site you do not have to offer money for a lead, but it helps if you do because it gets you good leads and responses rather than none at all.
