Gig Listing is a searchable database of live music. Users can choose to search for a keyword under three different music categories: gig, band, or venue. When users enter in their gig search, Gig Listing provides them with all upcoming live show information, such as dates, locations, and times. When users search for a band, the site provides all the info it has, such as the band’s official site, as well as the genre of music it belongs to. When a venue is searched, users are provided with the contact information and location of that place. Furthermore, should a user request a search, but Gig Listing cannot find any results, that person can help contribute by sending Gig Listing information for the requested live show, artist, or venue.
