Log onto the site and see all of the different uses it has for you. I wanted to check to see if they had an abundance of recipes from the stars, so I checked, Wolfgang Puck: 4176 recipes, Tyler Florence: 1637, and Rachel Ray: only 674, but there are more than enough recipes here for you to cook for your family and entertain guests for years without making the same dish twice. The recipes have comments alongside them so you can sometimes get some additional pointers. The restaurant guide extensively covers Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle; and more are coming shortly.

Clearly what FoodieView.com is trying to do with this website is to create a one stop shop for all of your cooking needs. And it appears that they have been fairly successful in accomplishing that, with the blogs, the restaurant guide, the search engine, etc. The site is full of great resources.

The site is getting some popularity and is easy to use, but will people ever really choose this over the FoodNetwork.com whose Alexa Ranking is currently under 2000?
