    Foo.com - Comprehensive Search Engine

    foo

Foo.com provides anybody with a search engine that claims to narrow results until the searcher can find the specific person he looks for. The site uses the expression “4-1-1 somebody” to refer to the search process that the site features.

In theory, the search engine enables you to look up anybody – someone you have been out of touch with for a long time, or even someone you have just met and whose telephone you lost. The featured search tool works even by supplying only the first or last name and the city.

You can also browse through the included FOO directory which can be accessed at the bottom of the main page. Basically, upon choosing any letter you are presented with a list of names for you to browse through. Further search features include the FOO Yellow Pages and a FOO reverse search tool. The latter includes a reverse phone lookup and a reverse cell phone lookup, as well as a reverse address search.

    In their own words

“FOO is a new way to people search! It allows you to filter your search down from billions of records to that one person you are searching for. Finding people has never been easier.”

Why it might be a killer

It is a flexible tool for finding anybody straightaway.

    Some questions

How long does the search process can take? If I am included on the database and I don’t want to be there, can I request to be removed from it?
