FactBites.com - Full sentence search results

    factbites

Tired of search engine results providing jumbled phrases about the sites they select for you? FactBites has developed a search engine with the goal of eliminating unwanted sites, and instead offering the user meaningful results, while including full, relevant sentences from the text of each listed site. FactBites is more interested in content analysis than link popularity. The site does not only search by keyword, but also searches on the basis of your whole topic area, returning sites that provide relevant information without the inclusion of keywords.

    In their own words

“Factbites is a new approach to web searching - the results make sense! Factbites offers users meaningful, relevant sentences from every site in the search results.”

Why it might be a killer

FactBites still extracts text from the listed sites, though the quality of text highlighted for each site is more informative of the site´s topic, as well as providing full sentences that allows for a better understanding of the site. It provides a better overview of the sites information, making it easier for users to find the right site quicker, without having to click through to ever site.

    Some questions
