Serchilo is a search engine that allows you to take advantage of many of the most popular search engines all in the same place. By either entering your keyword search in the search box at en.serchilo.net or by downloading the browser plug-in you can get more out of your searches. Serchilo works by allowing you to place short commands before your search to tell the engine where to look for what you want. “g” stands for Google so if you want to use Serchilo for a Google search, simply type a “g” followed by a space before your search terms. Other popular commands include “w” for Wikipedia articles, “gm” for Google Maps, “a” for Amazon, “yp” for Yellow Pages and a host of others. Will people have trouble remembering the proper commands or exactly how to enter them? Unless they can provide an easier to use interface they probably will not appeal to the masses.
