CrowdFound is essentially a social-bookmarking website, but with a different vision in mind. Most social bookmarking sites are really based on hype. What CrowdFound want to progressively develop are communities centered on specific topics (like music). Specifically, CrowdFound are looking to utilize the collaborative concept (used by the likes of Wikipedia) to build category pages (such as music) so that the best content on the web for that particular topic (pages, videos, pictures, blog articles, news stories etc) is brought together in a centralized location.
