Cookthink is one of my new favorite sites -- for style, substance and form. You put in what you are craving into their search bar (ie, pasta, vegetarian, rice, etc), and they give you a recommended recipe. If you don't like that one, they link you to other similar recipes. And these recipes are simply laid out with photos and tips. For example, in my pasta recipe, they had related tips on "how to chop an onion" and "how to mince garlic" with photos. Good stuff. They also had a link to what "goes with" my recipe. In my case, fried eggplant with garlic. Best of all, the design of all these recipes and tips was simple yet elegant, and aimed at the layperson. So, in essence, Cookthink walked me through an entire meal with great preparation and cooking recommendations. You can also do a search through their blog for other insights. I am thoroughly impressed and look forward to watching this site grow and evolve.
