    Alpha.ManagedQ.com - The Search Application

    alpha

ManagedQ is the first search application that packages the power of Natural Language Processing into a stunning user interface while running on top of Google. ManagedQ gives the user the same high quality result set they are used to with an Executive Summary on the left, visual previews on the right, and instant explorability through find-as-you-type, client-side Regular Expressions. ManagedQ takes the search experience to the next level by empowering the user to get more information from each search with zero switching costs and a uniquely interactive UI.

ManagedQ wants to be the first search application. It wants to take search and revolutionize the search experience with interactivity and lots visuals. For example, type in valentine’s gift and the screen will populate with screen shots of the top results. These Managed Previews give you a better idea of what a website looks like so you don’t have to slog through thousands of results. To the left hand side, results are categorized as either person, place, or thing and under each heading is a subcategory. So under valentine’s gift “Thing” you’d find subcategories like “Gift Ideas” and “Day Gift”. Use these to refine your search. The search process is the same as Google, just with a unique visual component that renders search a thing less boring.

    In their own words

    “It's a Search Application

ManagedQ's goal is to be the Internet's first Search Application. What do we mean by Search Application?

A Search Application is dedicated to helping you manage your entire Search Experience: from the keyword, to results, to previewing, to refinement and repeating with a new query”

Why it might be a killer

ManagedQ's simple design, intuitive UI and deep NLP features revolutionize the way people interact with their Google search results by instantly highlighting important people, places and things relevant to a search. ManagedQ fills a massive desire by the public to have better search results and experience without abandoning Google. Look for ManagedQ to grow exponentially as users flock from the major search engines. The next era of search has begun.

    Some questions

Will users find ManagedQ useful or too slow and busy to use? Will Google win this battle as well? ManagedQ is still quite buggy and slow to run. The initial use can be a blur and is somewhat confusing.
