Albumart.org - Search For Album or DVD Artwork

Need to search for album artwork for your burned DVDs or CDs? Or maybe your iTunes library is lacking some décor in regards to album visuals? If this is the case, a new album artwork search engine called Albumart might help you to put the finishing touches on your music collection. Albumart provides a simple search mechanism for album covers and artwork; simply enter in the name of DVD or CD into the search bar, and Albumart quickly produces a visual of the corresponding cover art and/or other album art, if any. Naturally you can right-click and download these images, or you can click on them to link back to their source. In general, Albumart yields multiple results for each query, the majority of which are relevant and of good quality.

I tried several different searches of varying degrees of obscurity, and Albumart successfully retrieved quality image results for each query. It couldn’t be simpler to use and works for both DVD and CD artwork searches.

Occasionally Albumart messes up and produces an irrelevant result. It would also be helpful if the site featured examples of how one might apply its services; while it’s purpose relatively self-explanatory, it would be interesting to showcase alternate ways of utilizing the search engine.
