    AfterCollege.com - Entry Level Jobs & Internships

    aftercollege

Just got your degree? First of all – congratulations. I have been there, and I know how it feels. Wondering how to best proceed next? Well, I have been there as well and I know things can get a bit daunting. Fortunately, there are websites like this one to ensure the transition into the big world is a smooth one.

Broadly speaking, the site includes a comprehensive database of both entry level jobs and internships that can be searched in a plethora of manners. You can specify the job type and the industry alongside your desired location – right where you live (in order to stay in touch with everybody) or somewhere else (as a way of having a taster of the real world and stand solely for yourself). When carrying out a search it is also possible to include specific tags. For instance, you can key in the name of a specific company you are interested in and see what comes up.

In addition to this elastic search tool, you can browse through the site by job category. A list is provided on the right-hand side of the screen, and underneath it you are going to find a link to several grad tools of interest. The latter includes a salary wizard and a tool for finding the right apartment for you.

Lastly, the site also includes a section that is geared towards academic associations that desire to help students find jobs, and a section for employers who wish to reach jobseekers by advertising online.

    In their own words

“Access opportunities specific to your association. Browse exclusive, entry positions. Save time and start a great career.”

Why it might be a killer

Those who have just graduated will find it a welcome resource.

    Some questions

How do you sign up? Are there any fees that have to be met?
