How many times each day do you find yourself away from your computer and wishing that you weren’t so that you could search for something in particular or download a song that is stuck in your head? Txtmarks will ensure that you won’t forget to search for that song in your head by allowing you to use your regular cell phone to send a message to your computer. Txtmarks works just like Bookmarks, simply send a message to Txtmarks and it will save the info in your computers browser. To put it simply, Txtmarks allows you to stay connected with your computer regardless of where you are and without requiring a mobile internet connection. Send a text message to your computer and have it saved as a Txtmark. The service is currently only available in the UK so for those of you on the other side of the Atlantic, you’ll have to wait a bit longer to take advantage of this new service.

txtmarks works by using your browser's live feeds functionality. You can add your txtmarks feed to your bookmarks menu or bookmarks toolbar - which ever you prefer. You can also add txtmarks to popular RSS readers, including Google Reader, Bloglines, Feedburner, My Yahoo! and many more.

There does not appear to be any advertising on the page and the service is offered free of charge so let’s hope they can figure out how to make enough money to make this viable world-wide. A great feature that they could add would be commands that save you from having to type so much on your little keypad.
