Today, more kids are using SMS than actually chatting with voices on their mobiles. Text messages are, afterall, quick and to the point. No talking about the weather with SMS. So, it's only a matter of time when a startup came along and made it possible for everyone to create their own SMS campaign. And that's precisely what a startup called Tagga has done. Tagga makes it easy for anyone with a mobile to get their message out to friends, family, neighbors, cities, or whomever they can get their hands on. Simply sign up, choose a keyword to use, and then text that keyword to Tagga (or 82442) to get the content you want distributed. There's a free plan which serves ads alongside yours or you can choose to pay 20 cents per message for ad-less content. It's a great to sell and interact with others without having to break the bank.

In their own words
"Tagga allows anyone to create FREE text message campaigns instantly so that you can interact, sell to, or simply communicate with mobile users."
Why it might be a killer
Tagga is a good concept. The market for SMS is huge so why not leverage it for everyday users? It's easy enough and not too spendy.
Some questions
Will users like their free content with ads? Will they be willing to pay for service without ads?
