Spongecell.com - Make Your Calendar Mobile

    spongecell

There is seemingly no end to the sites that want to help you simplify your life. But do they, or is all this technology overwhelming to the average person? Spongecell wants to help you integrate your calendar into all your tech toys. It is an online calendar application with many features and an easy to use interface. The service allows you to receive calendar reminders on your cell phone, view your friend“s schedules, notify your co-workers or families about your schedule via RSS or iCalendar, and allow guests to comment on your calendar as well (like, "hey mom, cancel my haircut, I have a soccer game"). All you have to do is register and Spongecell pretty much does the work for you from there. You can even type in, "Yoga every Saturday at 10am" and it will put it on your calendar for every Saturday. It is a cool tool, but who has time to do it?

    Some questions

Do people want to integrate their calendar in all areas of their lives and with all their tech toys? Can this technology be merged with other online application tools so that the user only needs to go to one site to integrate all their equipment for all purposes? Do they have a marketing plan to increase awareness of this technology? Also, how are they planning to make a profit?
