You can save the restaurant from your mobile or computer as a place to check out in the future. To review your city to-do list, simply text your location to PlacestTodo and they’ll send you all your bookmarks. Bookmarks can be retrieved within a five-block radius of your mobile check-in location. You can also share your ToDo list and discover new lists and places to go by browsing other’s picks.

PlacesToDo is a sound idea especially if you’re new to town. It takes advantage of mobile technology which everyone is likely to have and Web 2.0. With it you don’t have to be lost or bored.

PlacesToDo seemed buggy when I used it. Will this very beta performance make users wary? Will they expand to more cities? Why not improve the overall UI and add some FAQ’s?
