OhDontForget.com - Delivers Reminders To Your Mobile

    ohdontforget

Oh, Don't Forget is a handy mobile app that lets you send reminders to yourself and/or others from the web for a future date. To use the service, just enter in the number of the mobile device to which you wish to send the message, the date and time you want the message delivered, and then the text of the reminder. For example, if you need to take your neighbor's dog for a walk on October 27th while they're away for the long weekend, you can plug in your cell number, "10/27/07, 5pm" for the date and time, and write "Walk the O'Brien's dog" for the reminder text. The service is completely free, and works in the United States and Canada.

    In their own words

"you can now add support for numbers that switched cell providers and choose from various global providers"

Why it might be a killer

Oh, Don't Forget is a great service for anyone who's even a little absent minded (and aren't we all, on occasion). It's free to use and couldn't be simpler to execute; it's not even very picky about date and time formats; for example slashes work as well as dashes, as well words like "today" and "tomorrow".

    Some questions

It would be even better if you could have Oh, Don't Forget send you multiple reminders for a task across days or even weeks. This could be a more effective way of, say, reminding yourself to buy an anniversary present for your wife.
