In essence, CardStar lets you carry all your club, loyalty and rewards cards on your iPhone (or iPod touch), and have them scanned by the merchant directly from your screen.

So far, more than 130 companies are accounted for, split into six different categories like “Entertainment”, “Retail” and “Travel”, whereas supported territories include not only the States but also the UK and Canada.
