We’ve all heard about Skype and Vonage which use voice over IP technologies to connect the world with free or cheap calls. Both are wonderful services however, they have yet to offer a truly mobile solution that does not require a wireless internet connection.

Enter Mobivox, a company that allows you to make free or dirt cheap calls from your landline or mobile phone. Simply dial a local access number, which are available in more than 40 countries, say the name of the person you want to talk to (assuming they are a member), and get connected for the price of a local call. Mobivox also works with Skype so you can call your Skype contacts for free as well. Today, Mobivox announced that it will be adding a new service which will allow you to append a “call me now” add on to your email signature, blog etcetera which will allow anyone to call you without you having to make your phone number public.
