French start-up Mobiluck is a mobile company which lets users send messages over Bluetooth. Among other things, users of Mobiluck will be sent notifications whenever they approach another Bluetooth user, thus, introducing a key social element to the mix; imagine kindred Bluetooth users meeting by chance on city sidewalks, raving about the beauty of communication. Other features you'll find are free message and photo sending to friends and strangers without having to know anyone's phone number, alerts for incoming Bluetooth messages, and profiles complete with photos. Mobiluck can be downloaded for free directly to your mobile device. Soon to come are multiuser games, ringtones and wallpapers, event listings, and classifieds.

MobiLuck sounds like an excellent socializing app on paper. Users will be able to find and meet new people in their city with whom they can actually enjoy a cup of coffee or a movie, rather than the virtual drinks and whiteboard collaborations. Mobiluck supports more than 120 types of phones, and they claim to have over 500,000 registered users.
