JotYou is a location based mobile messaging service. Regular messaging services or SMS are sent and received summarily, without recipients or senders paying heed to location. JotYou is all about location. Messages are sent particularly with a specific spot in mind. They will arrive only when the recipient arrives at the specified locale. Here’s how it works: you send a message to as many people as you wish and specify the time and place of delivery using the on site map or an address from your mobile. Once the addressee arrives, they’ll be buzzed and alerted of the incoming message. There’s also a tracking feature which can be used for games and contests. Users can track groups on a map as they move from location to location.
