Jam-Code.com - Search For Anything On The Move

    jam-code

JamCode is a new initiative that in time will enable you to buy anything you need in the location that is nearest to you, at the best possible price. This is done via updates you receive on your mobile by using real-time data feeds from different sources.

The project is being put into practice right now, and the first issue to be dealt with is that of gas prices. This is taken into consideration by the aptly-titled GasBag, a system which is available to Apple iPhone users. Features include an expense manager and gas mileage to see how much you are currently saving whenever you fill up.

Of course, whenever you fill up you can help other members of the community by letting them know about the price that you paid so that they can act in consequence.

The site also includes a search tool whereby you can key in your ZIP code and see the best locations on offer in an instant manner.

It will be interesting to see how this project evolves over time, and which issues and products are taken into account next. Address your e-mails to info@jam-code.com if you have any thoughts on the subject.

    In their own words

“At jamcode we’re out to make it easier, quicker, and simpler to search for whatever you need to buy at the best price. And that’s while you’re on the move! The first challenge we’re tackling is ever-inflating gas prices. GasBag is the answer to quickly find the cheapest gas nearest to you, wherever you are.”

Why it might be a killer

It helps people save not only time but also money.

    Some questions

Which mobile devices are supported? Which ones will be supported later on?
