iTweet.net - Twitter App for Your iPhone

The launch of the iPhone has been accompanied by the simultaneous launch of iPhone goodies, among which are not one, but several Twitter apps. The latest is unoriginally called iTweet. It’s designed to make posting your tweets as easy as batting an eyelash. One of its features allows you to view only your newest messages so you don’t have to waste time waiting for EDGE to get going. You can also view and send direct messages to all your peeps and view replies within one screen. The interface is simple yet utilitarian, it gets the job done. Try it out today if you’re so lucky as to own an iPhone, otherwise check out the demo using Safari.

  In their own words

“iTweet.net is for busy people who enjoy keeping up with Twitter on their iPhone. "View New" feature only downloads new tweets to save massive loading time over the slower EDGE network! View your friends timeline, public timeline, direct messages and @username replies. Operate one handed - either hand. If you are like us you’re usually juggling more than just your Tweets. We’ve made this interface simple but effective, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”

Why it might be a killer

iTweet takes into account the not so fast EDGE network and works to make staying up to date and in touch easier. It’s definitely a tool that iPhone owners are bound to want. Twitter is insanely popular, so an iPhone app is only fitting.

  Some questions

How does iTweet compare to Hahlo, thincloud, et al? Is it really quicker than the rest? Will it out perform the competition?

  Updates
